CJO Notes

A great crowd and a great night celebrating the "Kings of Swing" with the CJO & Carl Topilow. Over 500 people enjoyed a terrific night of music and tremendous performances by the CJO and Carl. Here's a comment from a young musician...“I couldn’t believe it lasted 2 ½ hours. It felt like a ½ hour!! Usually I’m trying not to fall asleep.” Tunes included, Sing, Sing, Sing, Artie Shaw Clarinet Concerto, Let's Dance and the Cleveland premier of Theme & Variations III, arranged especially for the CJO by Bill Holman. Thanks to Roland Paolucci for commissioning it.
